Original Item: Only One Available. WWII production for the German Navy and marked with spread eagle and swas stamping over a large initial M for Marine under the plated finish. The back is also marked with asset marking Nr. 6942N. This one was made by the German WWII Military Contractor Hanhart, and is marked as such on the dial. This is the classic design for Torpedo timing and used in U-Boats and E-Boats in the North Atlantic. 

This stopwatch is offered in great fully functional condition. The fluted knob on the top controls everything. You wind it up and when you push it in once the single seconds had starts moving immediately. On the second push, the second hand freezes at the time elapsed position. On the third push the timer resets itself to zero ready for reuse.

The manufacturer of this watch is Hanhart Chronographs, which was founded in 1882 in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, by Johann A. Hanhart. In 1902, operations were moved to Schwenningen in southern Germany, the stronghold of German watchmaking. They produced watches for the German Navy during WW1 and WW2. This model, as indicated on the watchface, has a 3-Jewel movement.
