Vintage-inspired, automatic watches at affordable prices? Count us in!
Ocean Crawler makes self-winding, 1970s-esque, robust dive watches down in Charlotte, North Carolina. Funky, accessible and fun, they’re the sort of timepieces we here at vintage-obsessed Analog/Shift can get behind.
The Core Diver in Green/Black is a classic diver in the mold of products from Doxa and Aquastar. Housed in a 44mm stainless steel ‘cushion’ case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a green and black luminous, unidirectional sapphire dive bezel, it features a luminous, sunburst grey dial with applied indices, a matching ‘sword’ handset, a date window at 6 o’clock, and a rehaut with 5-minute demarcations.
Powered by the Sellita SW200-1 movement, this limited edition of just 100 pieces comes paired to a signed black silicone strap with a signed, stainless steel deployant clasp. In nearly mint condition, it also ships with its factory goodies — including an additional nylon strap, as well as a ‘Milanese’ bracelet.
On the lookout for an affordable, hi-spec diver that you don’t have to be precious with? Well, looks like you just found it.
